It seems that Southern Cross Yachts is going from strength to strength with the addition of the Rib Centre at its head quarters in Plymouth. Based at Yacht Haven Quay in Plymouth the UKs largest Dry Stack Marina the Rib Centre has a permanent 24 hour display of New and Used Ribs.

The Rib centre will be selling new brands including Ballistic, Zodiac, Bombard and Avon, as well as selling a range of good value brokerage RIBs. The Rib Centre utilises local services in the area supplying Yamaha, Suzuki and other various engine options with its onsite engineers and sales team.

The Rib centre is in an enviable position where it can benefit from using state of the art storage and launching facilities, making it a very attractive and convenient place to test, see and buys a RIB all in the same place and on the same day Within no more than two hours notice you can arrange a test ride and experience firsthand what it is like to take a rib out into Plymouth Sound from the Rib Centre on the River Plym. With our designated test area on the River Plym under the stunning gardens of the National Trusts Saltram House we can open the engines to full speed putting any number of our ribs through its paces.

Local business and boating enthusiast Rob Cross has again invested in the local economy, using local firms to supply engines and creating jobs in production and hull assembly. Sourcing GRP consoles and seats from new business and using experienced contractors he continues to improve the purchasing experience so well established with his other company Southern Cross Yachts.
